Algaecides:
When we add these chemicals to water, they destroy algae and blue/green algae. Algaecides are active and better options against algae. Antifoams:
Foam originates when certain gas forms are scattering into liquid and forming the mass of bubbles. Flocculants:

It is also for water classification, softening lime, to thicken sludge, and to dehydrate solids. Flocculation is a system in which colloids come out of suspension. Scale inhibitors:
Scale is the precipitate present on water-contact surfaces. As temperature rises, it results from the precipitation of normally soluble solids that become insoluble. PH neutralizers:
These are the mostly used chemicals, but when and how they are used varies depending on the wastewater production process. When the wastewater blends with other effluents, this would help avoid harmful chemical reactions.
